Forgive me as it has been way to long since I have updated this site. We have been busy having the usual summer fun. These are some various pictures taken in the months of May, June and July.

Brighton has been busy rolling over, sleeping through the night, spitting up, and smiling almost constantly!! He is 5 months old and we love him more every day if that is possible.

Family Fun at Lake Norman

Every year in the summertime we enjoy a fun visit from my Grandmother, Kim, Abi, Kelley, Duane, Gracie, and Emory. Their visit was last weekend we had a GREAT time! The girls all played so nicely together, and the grown ups enjoyed watching them play, and we had some fun of our own!

I had a wonderful time catching up with everyone. I was sad for the weekend to be over with but we did get some good pictures. Enjoy.

Fathers Day

I hope that all the fathers had a special and happy Father's Day ! This was Jason's first one and it was wonderful. We decided to take Brighton to the pool for the 1st time this weekend. We went on both Saturday and Sunday for a little while. Upon his 1st entry into the water, his facial expression never changed. Like he didn't notice that  he was anywhere different! Yesterday when we put him in, he cried at 1st, and then he was okay with it, and then he laid his head back and went to sleep!! In the water. It was pretty funny. The lifeguard was laughing at him.

Luckily, the there were some clouds over head to block the sun, allowing us to stay in the water longer than we would have been able to had they not been there. We are having a heat wave, here in NC!

I asked Jason what he wanted to do for Father's Day, andl he said that all he wanted was for me to make fondue, and so this is what we had. Happy Father's Day Jason. You are a WONDERFUL father!! We love you.

Stephanie's Visit

These pictures are from May, but Stephanie just sent them and I had to put them on here because they were so cute. These were from when Stephanie came to meet Brighton a month ago. She always takes the best pictures!

Photo Shoot

Lacey and Jameson were in town for a few days. Gosh, it has been so long since we have seen them! Jameson has grown so much in only a few weeks. We decided to take the children to get their pictures made. The photo shoot was SO much fun! We went to Portrait Innovations and I highly recomend them. They were great with the kids and getting them to smile and keeping them entertained. We WILL be back.

Memorial Day Weekend

We had a busy Memorial Day weekend. The time off was nice and the time spent with family was even better. Friday night Jason and I attended Nick Lerow's surprise 30th birthday party. It was a great time. The rain did not get us down! It was a good time seeing good friends.

We spent Saturday celebrating Poppi's birthday. Brighton got his 1st taste of Baygents Beach but he promtly fell asleep!

I just want to say that I did miss my Thomas cousins, Aunts and Uncles and Memorial Day is never the same without them. I hope to see all of you soon.  

Sunday Rachel came to keep little Brighton (Thank you!) and I got to spend the day with my sister at the pool. Jason went to the race. Monday was spent resting up from all the fun activities. It rained and I don't think we cared a bit!! That was our weekend.
