February Update

Greetings... Sorry that it has been so long that I have posted anything. The truth is, we are still trying to get organized in our new living situation, and we could not locate our camera cord for a while. Found it! Lets see what all has gone on this month. Well, my parent's had water damage and had to move out of the house for 2 weeks while their floors were refinished. Jason, Brighton and I toughed it out downstairs while the work was going on. It has been completed and they have moved back in.

Also, I have been trying to get Brighton's birthday party planned. It is just crazy to me how fast this year has gone! He is crawling as fast as a bullet. He has also been making some cute faces. He gives big slobbery kisses as well. I cannot wait for his birthday party!!

There is an above picture from Amy Rowland's surprise 30th birthday party. So much fun to surprise her and see a lot of good friends!

On another occasion, we went out to a neat wine place with Kelly, Craig, Melissa and Kendall who happen to be my fellow bridesmaids in the wedding. It was so much fun and we will be going back there again.

We have not broken ground on the house yet. We are waiting on a couple of things to go through but we are very anxious to get started.

Happy Valentines Day!!

Lacey, Jameson and Michael came to stay for a week. It was really fun. It was also crazy with 3 kids around! Our family went from having 1, and jumping to 3 in a short time. It was a great time though. While they were here we took them to have pictures made, since Brighton is turning 1, and Jameson 4.

We once again had another wonderful session at Portrait Innovations. It was time consuming but I love how they turned out.

Michael has grown so much but is still a tiny little baby. She is soooo sweet. Brighton loved having his cousins around. Now we are looking forward to Brighton's 1st birthday party which is right around the corner!

Charleston for Remley's Birthday

Jason, Brighton, Lacey, Jameson and I went to Charleston to visit the Johnson's and for Remley's 4th birthday. She and Jameson are a week apart in age. The birthday party had a Hello Kitty theme. It was all very cute. We stayed for the weekend and enjoyed some adult time after the kiddies went to bed as well. It was very nice to carch up with Shayna, David, Remley and Rhett, and to add little Brighton to the mix!

Dallas

So, over the weekend we moved. Since this whole house on the market/selling thing happened so fast, our heads were spinning. We decided the best thing for us to do right now is move in with my parents. If they get sick of us we will rent something but we really didn't even have time to look for a rental as this has all happened so fast. Their house has a lower level with a nice room and bathroom for Jason and I and Poppi is sharing his office/gym with Brighton.

I recently watched a marathon of the show Dallas. I used to watch it with my mom when I was little, but it never occurred to me how strange it was that the grown sons had wives and children of their own, but continued to live at Southfork with their parents! All in the same house. Well, we are trying it out. Just as my sister and her family did a few years ago. No wonder Lynn Biter calls my parent's house "SouthFork"!

We had a rough weekend of moving. Moving is hard. I just kept wondering how Jason and I have accumulated so much junk in only 6 years??? We both made vows to not be hoarders in our new home. Is that even possible? I don't think anyone realizes how much crap they have until they move.

We are closing on our former home on Friday and if the closing goes smoothly we are headed to Charleston for Remley's birthday party.

Happy Homeless New Year!

Happy New Year everyone! 2011 is bringing many changes for us. Jason and I have had a property in Denver, NC (Lake Norman) for a while and we have decided the time is right to build on it. Soooooo, we put our home on the market 2 weeks ago. This market is tough so we thought it would take a while. We showed the house on Christmas Eve and had an offer the day after Christmas. The 1st showing! We are still not believeing it. We are closing on Jan. 21st. I've been busy packing and it is over whelming. This year will be both challenging and exciting. Staying with family and in tight places at times, and the stress of building, but at the same time it is going to be one of the most exciting things that we have ever done together. We are breaking ground on Feb. 1st. The Flowes are Lake Norman bound!

4 Christmases

Christmas came. Santa came to drop off some goodies for little B. Mommy and Daddy had a wonderful Christmas with our little man. It was so much fun and we look forward to all of the rest of them. We are blessed to have so many aunts, uncles, and grandparents who love us, and Brighton!!! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday.

Christmas with the Flowe's

ON Christmas Eve Connie, Max, and Kelly and Craig came over. We had a wonderful time together. Sorry that I do not have to many pictures, they turned out dark. Welcome to the family Kelly!

Christmas with the Helm's and Currence's

On Christmas Eve we went to Fort Mill and attended a breakfast for Rachel's Uncle Doolie. It is his annual birthday breakfast get together. Then we went to see Jason's Maw Maw and Paw Paw. Had a nice visit with them.

On Christmas morning Brighton got up and saw what Santa had brought him. Wow between that and the grandparents' gifts he has soooo many toys now! Rachel and Donnie came over late that morning and did our Christmas. Then after we played and hung out for a while they left to go to the beach.

Christmas 2010 With the Baygents/Antleys

Christmas night was spent at my parents. Lacey, Mickey, Jameson and Michael came. Michael was still very tiny looking to me. So sweet! The kids had a great time and played with all of their new toys, then went to bed to let the grown ups open up all of their toys. We all watched the snow!

Here is a new picture of Michael. I cannot wait to see her again, and see how she has grown and changed.

As far as a Brighton update he has started scooting instead of rolling. It is sort of like crawling without using his knees! He also has his 1st tooth.
