Summer's just a slipping away...
We had a week long beach trip recently. It was HOT! Had a lot of fun as usual. 

After that we returned to the lake for father's Day!! Love these Dads!!

The 4 of us took a long weekend to the beach. We could not have asked for better weather! The kids had a blast and Jason and I got to enjoy some downtime. Hope to go again soon. Perfectly content with Lake Norman activities until then!

 

Last weekend the weather was iffy. It turned out to be fine though! Poppi bought us tickets to the Panther's 2016 Draft Party for Saturday. It was so much fun! The kid's had a GREAT time.

We got to visit the locker room and gym of the players. Balloons and face painting for the kids. 

We finished off the evening with a Mexican dinner. Good times!!
Sunday was Ann'a birthday party. Was supposed to rain all day but was bright and sunny!!  

Soccer!! Brighton has completed 2016 Spring Soccer. Great time. Many cold morning games and evening practices but well worth it! We had a great team and coach this year. Brighton and Jason practiced diligently and Brighton is pretty good on defense and scored a few goals! Brighton and Michael got to be on the same team this year so that was fun AND convenient!

Easter

Spring is really here. We celebrated Easter last week and weekend. The kids had several egg hunts to attend. Church, dyed eggs, ham, all of that good stuff!

Now, to get through pollen and horrible allergies all around!!

February Birthdays!!

February flew by. We celebrated 3. Brighton went with Poppi and Yaya to visit my grandmother who just turned 90!

Then we celebrated Brighton's 6th birthday. He and his brother got to go to Build a Bear and pick out their Star Wars bears. Very exciting!

Then we had Hayden's 1st birthday to go and celebrate! Baby girl is all smiles and started walking just days before her birthday so she is right on time!! 

Now it is March and we all have SPRING FEVER!!

Snow Days and Super Bowl

We have made it through January. Not without a snow storm though! After a very warm winter so far, we finally got a snow/ice storm that had us out of school and off of the roads for two days plus a weekend. We did some sledding and the kids got to use their snow ball maker that they got for Christmas!

With February, came the Panthers making it all the way to the Super Bowl!! I was extremely excited. Planned a little party for a few friends at our house. As soon as I started planning it, Jason announced he was GOING to the super bowl with DB. Goodness! What??! Crazy, but to good of an opportunity to pass up. I cancelled the party. I am no good without a co-host. They went. Had a blast, but unfortunately could not celebrate a win. Once in a lifetime opportunity though!

The kids are out of school most of this week. Since Jason and I have to work at least their grandparents are keeping them entertained! Bouncy House with Gigi and Pop, out to eat and cousin fun with Yaya, and Discovery Place Kids with Abuala and Abuelo. Thank goodness!

We have had such a mild winter. Just now getting hit with cold temps. It is now FREEING!! Also,
we have had lots of excitement on the weekends with the Panthers making it into the play offs! Go Panthers!!

I have been an awful absentee blogger! I think that I have just been really bad about not taking many pictures! Forgive me please. We had a wonderful Christmas and Christmas break. Got to see family and friends. Enjoyed many days off. Welcomed 2016!!
