I have been MIA from this blog for a while. We misplaced the cord that charges our camera so sorry for the lack of pictures. Not to much has been going on. The house is coming along. I probably won't post more until they start putting up the exterior materials. Other that, we are looking forward to a long Memorial Weekend! Happy birthday to my dad!! I found the camera cord so I will take pictures this weekend! I hope that everyone enjoys the holiday!

Exciting House Progress!

We returned from our mini vacation to Savannah to find that their had been a lot of work done on the house. It is completely framed now! Next step is the electrical being put in and some other internal things like that and then the roof.

Savannah

We just got back from visiting Stephanie, Patrick,Cooper and Carter in Savannah. We had not seen their "new" (okay they have been there 3 years) house yet. It was beautiful as were their 2 boys! We had a really fun time. We just spent some good QT together. We ate some great food, had yum drinks, and tons of fun.

We went to the beach on Saturday but only got to stay a little while because of the rain. Brighton is for sure going to be a beach bum like his dad. He just speed crawls across the sand. He loves it! He got to take a bath with his 3rd cousins. That was fun too.

The boys all played together and Brighton could not believe the amounts of balls, trucks, cars, and trains Cooper and Carter had! It was so much fun and we cannot wait to go back. We even had a Low Country Boil Saturday night. YUM!

Ring Bearer & Flower Girl

This is a picture of Jameson and Brighton coming down the isle at Kelly & Craig's wedding. Brighton sort of had a scared face at 1st but as soon as he started to recognize people sitting in the pews he put on a happy face. This picture does not capture that, but at least Jameson is smiling! I hope to post some more wedding pictures soon.

Brighton's 1st Hair Cut

Here are some before pics and pics taken while he was having his hair cut. He was a little scared but the place we went to was designed for small children, so it kept him entertained. I only got about an inch cut off, so he still has that baby look that I was so afraid of losing once he got his 1st cut. Of course, Jason wanted to give him a good buzz but I put my foot down!

This is the after shot. The stylist scrunched it all up and it is not how I would have styled it, a little to kinky for me, but I am happy with the length and Mommy will style it right tonight after his bath and he will be looking good!

Mother's Day

Mother's Day was great! Jason let me sleep in and then when I did wake he gave me gift, card and lovely flowers. Brighton was a sweety pea, as usual. Had a lovely lunch with my family. The rest of the day was spent on the beach. Brighton does not let anything stop him. Scraped up knees (from the sand)and all, he is full force! He loves it!
