"Take Me To Church"!

Nothing major is going on right now. We are just trying to persevere through the long, wet, rainy winter. Brighton and Baylor have been LOVING the song "Take Me To Church" or "Take Church" as Baylor calls it by Hozier. They have no idea that the song has nothing to do with Unity Presbyterian church, Sunday worship, but God bless them, for thinking so. They play it loud on my phone over and over and dance. Baylor's dance moves are hilarious. When he thinks no one is watching he is gliding around like a Phish follower or a little Dead Head, just a boppin. Precious.
Meanwhile, at actual church last Sunday, Jameson got to serve as an acolyte. She was so proud. They had a chili/soup competition afterwards. These pictures are terribly blurry, sorry.

And here is Pop the pirate when he came to visit us last week!

Now that we are in the new year, nothing has slowed down. This is my busiest time of the year for work and Jason has been busy as well. Of course our boys keep us constantly busy, but I thought I would stop for at least a quick update.
Lacey and Mickey had their annual Oyster Roast. I think this was #4?? IT was fun as always and GREAT oysters!! It was wet and cold but Mickey managed to set it up so that everyone was comfortable.

Cards Against Humanity

After the oysters were gone, and the Panther's game over we enjoyed a game or two!
Fun times.

Brighton got invited to his 1st "friend birthday party". He has been to parties of cousins and family members of course, but we have not seen him much more excited than he was when he had his best friend Easton's invite in hand!
The party was at the fire station and it was such a cute idea. I may have to steal this for Baylor in a couple of years. They watched the firemen slide down the poles and the boys were allowed to play full range on the fire trucks! Scary huh? It was all very cute.

Birthday Boy

Now, Brighton is just on fire to have his own birthday party. We do big parties for the boys every other year and luckily this is the year for it!! I guess I'll get to planning.
