Flowe Family

Flowe Family

Tuesday, June 24, 2014

Last weekend we had a glorious day on Lake Norman. We had quite the crowd with us, the Antley's, Alecia, Jake, Andrea, Chris, Jimmy and Juliana.

It was a HOT one, so we were all ready to get in the water and float around. Only negative thing that happened was a bad storm rolled in.  We stuck it out and let it pass and sunshine followed afterwards. It was truly one of the best times out there so far!

Baylor just loves the new addition to the Antley family, Dabo. AKA "Babo". He really enjoys it when he gets to come over to our house. He calls out his name over and over. He walks through our house calling him, even when he is not there. Every black dog that he sees screams out "BABO!!!".
It is funny.
This week Stephanie, Cooper, Carter and baby Asher are here. The kids (except for Michael, Baylor and Asher who are too young) are attending Unity Presbyterian Vacation Bible School all week. They are really enjoying it so far! I have fond memories as a child, going to Bible school at my grandmother's church. I know they are in for a blast this week!

Father's Day

It was extremely nice to get home from vacation to enjoy a weekend! Especially a weekend that included FATHER'S DAY! This year, Jason and I could not work it out where we could split the day up between the 2 sides, so we made the best of it. I missed out on Max  and Jason missed out on Darryl. Good thing we get to see both of them on a regular basis though! Love them both so much.
Our day started with Baylor and Brighton gathering in our bed to shower Daddy with presents! Then, I made us breakfast and we spent the rest of the morning together. Jason then took Brighton to meet his dad and Connie at Mountain Isle Lake, and I took Baylor to Baygent's Beach. We all had a wonderful time.

That's some serious AIR!

I am so lucky every year to have my dad. He is such an all around great guy. Everyone who knows him, loves him. Especially ME!
I am also blessed with a wonderful father to my kids. He spends so much time with them, and they both look up to him so much. We love you Jason/Daddy/DaDa!

Antley/Flowe Beach Trip #1 2014

It has been a long time since I have updated. That is because we went on a week long beach trip, and I am now back and trying to play catch up, during my most busiest time at work ever!! But on to the fun stuff...the beach trip.
The 8 of us all got along beautifully. The kids were on their best behavior, we had glorious weather. It was truly a great time.

Nature conveniently delivered tidal pools every day for the kids to play in, and we dug holes to keep Baylor occupied!

Adults had fun too!

Clearly, I need my sister to teach me how to pose better!

Of course we went to Bimini's one night as it is our favorite. It's so casual and loud that we can bring 4 kids in with out feeling or looking to bad!!

Other time was spent at the California Pizza/Game Zone, a little bit of Sands Ocean Club action, but mostly, we just enjoyed the beach and sitting on the balcony at night.

Yayay sharing her frozen lemonade with Baylor

It was a great time. Perfect time away from the daily grind. Can't wait to do it again!
About 1 hour of bliss on the way home

Billie's Shower

My good friend Billie is having a baby girl later this summer. We are all so excited for her! Finally a girl, coming into a house full of boys!
We went to her shower a couple of weeks ago. The mother to be looks GREAT, and the shower was really pretty and fun. Never really liked baby shower games until now! Sorry, I did not get better pictures. I was having to much fun!

Happy Friday!!! No, the boy's are not sick. Baylor decided to sit/lay still for a moment. They are relaxing, getting ready for a BIG week ahead....

18 Month Back to Back Pictures

Baylor officially turned 18 months a couple of weeks ago. He is such a cutie these days. I just love his blond, straight hair. He is a man of few words, but has been trying to talk more. He knows exactly what I am saying to him though. Brighton can often tell me what he wants even when Baylor can't speak the words. He is a great little eater. He eats more than Brighton does! I have not found to many foods that he has turned down. So far, he is still taking two naps a day. He is a very social little guy. Loves to wave at other boaters on the water and always speaks to the wait staff at restaurants. Over and over again, while they are in route to another table! His favorite thing to do lately is to throw the tennis ball for Wesley to retrieve. It is fun to see him do new things but sad for him to not be such a baby anymore. I wonder how long Jason and I will continue to refer to him as "the baby".
Baylor 18 Months

Brighton 18 Month (With unfortunate head injury!)

My opinion is that they look like brothers but also very different. What do you think?
