Poor Baylor woke up this morning to a bad start. He has been throwing up pretty bad. After the 3rd time, I called the nurse. She advised Pedialyte doses every 5 minutes. Good thing he loves it! After he drinks that all day and tolerates it then we can start giving him his bottles and solids again. When he is not throwing up, he seems to be very happy and he does not have a fever.

He discovered the Diamond Room today. That is what Brighton calls our dining room. Loves the rug in there. You will remember this rug from this blog entry http://flowefamilyfun.blogspot.com/2013/01/pee-gallery.html
Mommy thought she was so smart to move the candlesticks that Baylor loved going after in the living room, to this room. Nope. He has out smarted me. Can't fool him! Found them!
I sure do hope he is feeling better soon as my grandmother and cousins are here for the weekend!! Happy Friday everyone!!

Weekend Fun

We had another fun week/weekend. Stephanie brought Cooper and Carter to attend Vacation Bible School with Jameson. Brighton got to play with them some during the week and on Friday Patrick flew in.

Mickey and Patrick did the Ultimate Nascar Experience, where they got to drive a race car around the track. 7:30 AM was a little early for us to make it to the track but they sent us some pics.
After they all returned from that, we got together for a fabulous lake day. We had beautiful weather. No humidity. Perfect!

Silly Shades

Baylor was pretty good on the boat and even got in the water and floated around with us for a while. He was really happy out there!!

Mommy and her water baby!
With all of the kids we were continuously doing head counts! They had a blast together though. We ended the day on Baygents Beach. Can't wait until we get to see them again!!

Sunday was another gorgeous day. Rachel and Donnie joined us for another day of boating, followed by hot dogs and brats on the grill.

Do we really have to start the work week again???

Baylor's 9 Month Update

Baylor is one happy baby lately!  He is eating 3 meals a day, plus his bottles, and his nap schedule is becoming more defined. He is still spitting up a lot, so that is why he is always wearing a bib!  He has been doing some mimicking. I think he is trying to say "Hey" but I am not sure yet. This is happening so fast, I cannot believe it. His biggest accomplishment though is crawling!! Life as we know it has changed! I am afraid that his 1st words might just be "No no no" as this is what Brighton and I say on a regular basis as Baylor is obsessed with my candle sticks at the fire place (which have now been moved) and my peacock feathers.

He has just discovered Brighton's playroom, and crawled right on in. From this point on, it is officially Brighton and Baylor's playroom! Brighton seemed excited to share it, but we will see how long that lasts!

Father's Day Weekend

Since we are done traveling for a while, we got to use the boat for the 1st time this season. We took Baylor for his very 1st boating experience (other than inside of Mommy's belly all last, never ending summer!). I was really nervous. He did great though! He wore his life jacket and even took a nap on the boat. We stayed close to home, just in case he didn't like it. He did though!  Sorry, I did not get any pictures of Saturday.

Sunday was full of Father's Day celebrations.

Unfortunatley I did not take any pictures of my baby daddy, but Happy Father's Day Jason!! My boys are lucky to have such a hands on, loving father!! Sunday morning we had Kelly, Craig, Baby Taylor, Connie and Max over for a brunch and boat cruise.

Well, Connie was nice enough to
stay with the babies while we did a short ride. Everyone brought yummy food and it was a great time! Uncle Craig got to have the "You are Special Today" plate since this was his 1st Father's Day.

After that, we put Baylor to the test again and rode to my parent's house  by boat. He fell asleep in my arms on the way! Got to celebrate with my wonderful father!! Love you dearly Dad!!

Had a yum dinner of grilled lobster tails, corn and salad, then cruised on home to start the work week :(
On a fun note though, the Kisgen cousins are here all week!!!

Antley/Flowe Beach Trip

Normally this annual trip is to the condo at Myrtle Beach but it is all booked up with renters at this point! Lacey's boss has a beach condo and told her they could use it. They so kindly decided to invite us along!  It was a 2 bedroom and since none of us had ever seen the space, I decided it would be better to leave Baylor at home this time around. He stayed with my mom, and Jason's dad and step mom, so we knew he was in good hands. It was our 1st trip without him and was a little sad, but I think we made the best choice.
The beach we went to was called Indian Beach and is on the "Crystal Coast" on Bogue Banks barrior island. It is on the south most tip of the Outer Banks. It was a good 6 hour drive (another reason we did not take Baylor). WORTH THE DRIVE! We had a blast and everything was gorgeous. The condo itself turned out to be really nice and big and open so we had plenty of room.

The 1st day, the kids spent the majority of their time messing up a giant sand hole that someone else had slaved over. On day 2, Lacey and I decided that we should make our own hole!
This is us breaking ground.

Luckily, the men eventually jumped in and helped us really get it going. Mickey put in the bench seating all around.

Notice the stairs

We had great weather. 3 whole beach days. If we get to go again next year we will take Baylor and will stay longer!
We had a few nights out at dinner on the water. This area was beautiful and not commercialized at all. Real sand dunes everywhere.

Meanwhile, back at home... Baylor tried his 1st plum!

We missed him. We were so sad to leave but glad to see our happy little fellow.

Our Weekend

We had a low key weekend. Brighton was at the beach with Jason's mom. He returns today and I cannot wait to see him! Baylor enjoyed all of the extra attention! I forgot how different it is with 1 child verses 2! There's a big difference!

We went to Jameson's dance recital. Baylor sat there for an hour and even danced a little to the music!!

Saturday night we went to Lacey and Mickey's for dinner. Baylor was showing off his scooting and moving skills. He is almost there...

Sunday we took Baylor to the pool for the 1st time. He went right in!! He seemed to enjoy it, but only stayed in for about 15 or 20 minutes. The water was warm but it was an over cast day.

We had a great weekend and loved all of the one one on one time with Baylor. He deserves that sometimes! Looking forward to seeing Brighton today! We have a very fun weekend ahead.
