Brighton has gone back to school. He is in 2nd grade this year and his teacher's name is Mrs. Turcotte. Every thing is going good so far. He has quite a bit more homework than he had last year.
Jason and I went to Las Vegas on a work trip. We had a really great time. We worked a show during the days and then got to play during the nights.
Kelly, John Chace, Baylor and I went on our 2nd annual beach get away to Kingston Plantation. Kelly has a work conference here that falls right around Baylor's birthday so we use it as an excuse to go to the beach and let the Littles play in the waterpark. Such a fun time and an amazing place to stay!
As soon as we returned it was time for Baylor's 5th birthday party. Another fun party at Bounce U. Baylor's 1st one there though. Cousins and school friends attended. Of course it was lots of fun.
Jason and I celebrated our 12th wedding anniversay at Ocean Isle Beach this year. We had beautiful weather and a nice, quit time of relaxing.
Brighton is involved in Cub Scouts this year. He is really enjoying it so far. It seems as though it will be a great platform for him to learn good life skills as well as bonding with others. He has a camping trip coming up that he is very excited about
