We spent Saturday with Max, Connie, Kelly and Craig. Max brought his boat over and we went out on it for a few hours.. The weather was perfect! What a difference low humidity makes!
Yum food, cold beers (well, lemonade for me this time!)and bright sunshine made for the perfect day! Brighton finally got to ride on a pontoon boat. He's been keeping tabs on the new pontoon boat that moved in across the cove from us a few weeks ago, and has been quite interested in them ever since, so it was fun for him to see his Abuelo pull up to our home in one.

Once home we grilled shish-kabobs to end the day. I hope we can do more days like this during the rest of the summer.
On Sunday, Jason, Brighton and I went on another kayak ride. It was probably the best part of the day. That morning we had to endure several melt downs caused by the "terrible two's". We hope it was due to Brighton being overly tired from the day before. That was NOT fun. Luckily his melt downs are normally over pretty quick if we either ignore them, or give him a warning. After his nap, he was much better.
